1.0 Community Rules

Rule 1.1 - Respect Everyone

Treat every member with respect. No personal attacks, harassment, racism, sexism, homophobia, or hate speech. Keep disagreements civil.

Rule 1.2 - No Toxic Behaviour

Do not troll, intentionally provoke players, constantly interrupt RP, grief events, or ruin other players' experiences.

Rule 1.3 - Staff Respect

Staff decisions should be respected. If you disagree, You are more than welcome to open a ticket on discord.

Rule 1.4 - No Rule Lawyering or Loophole Abuse

The rules cannot cover every possible situation. Deliberately exploiting technicalities, mechanics, or omissions in the rules to gain an unfair advantage is prohibited. Staff will always enforce the spirit of the rules over the literal wording.

Rule 1.5 - Staff Discretion

Staff may intervene in any situation they believe is harmful to the server, roleplay, player experience, or community, even if the specific behaviour is not explicitly listed in these rules.

2.0 Character Rules

Rule 2.1 - Character Names

Names must fit Elder Scrolls lore.

Allowed: Bjorn Ironhand, Decimus Corvinus, Ra'zirr

Not Allowed: John Wick, Naruto, Batman

Rule 2.2 - Character Background

Every character should have a believable history, believable goals, and a believable personality.

Rule 2.3 - Value Your Life

Your character values their own life. Do not charge twenty guards alone, fight impossible odds, ignore serious injuries, or suicide to escape RP.

Rule 2.4 - Fear Roleplay

React realistically when threatened. If a bandit points a sword at your neck, surrendering or negotiating is realistic. Laughing and attacking anyway is not.

Rule 2.5 - Character Consistency

Remain consistent. Do not completely change your character's personality simply because it benefits you.

Rule 2.6 - Character Knowledge

Your character only knows what they have personally learned through roleplay. Relationships, criminal activity, political events, and personal information must all be discovered through IC interactions.

Rule 2.7 - Character Separation

Information, money, items, influence, or relationships may not be transferred between your own characters unless approved through legitimate roleplay. Each character is considered an independent individual.

3.0 Roleplay Standards

Rule 3.1 - Quality Roleplay

Players should focus on creating enjoyable stories rather than winning.

Rule 3.2 - No Meme RP

Avoid modern jokes, internet slang, breaking immersion, and unrealistic behaviour.

Rule 3.3 - Realistic Injuries

Injuries matter. Broken bones, arrows, and serious wounds should affect roleplay.

Rule 3.4 - Consequences

Every action has consequences. Stealing, murder, assault, and political decisions should all create lasting roleplay.

Rule 3.5 - Consent RP

Romance, torture, permanent injury, and similar roleplay require the consent of everyone involved.

4.0 Communication Rules

Rule 4.1 - Stay In Character

Remain IC whenever possible. Use OOC chat only when necessary.

Rule 4.2 - Voice Communication

Do not spam sounds, scream, or audibly disrupt others without genuine cause. Playing music, or using soundboards is generally only acceptable for bards, or in approved events, and it just fit in with the scene.

Rule 4.3 - OOC Arguments

Never argue OOC inside active roleplay.

5.0 New Life Rule - NLR

If your character dies:

6.0 Metagaming & Powergaming

Rule 6.1 - No Metagaming

You may not use Discord information, streams, friends giving locations outside of local VC/local text, or OOC conversations to benefit IC.

Rule 6.2 - No Powergaming

Do not force actions onto another player or use mechanics in a way that removes reasonable roleplay interaction.

Example: using cuffs on a player when you have no known IC reason or crime to justify it.

7.0 Combat Rules

Rule 7.1 - Valid Initiation

Combat requires legitimate roleplay. There must be motive, escalation, and interaction before violence begins.

Rule 7.2 - No Random Killing

Killing requires a clear RP reason and believable escalation.

Rule 7.3 - Hostages

Hostages must be treated realistically. Random executions are prohibited.

Rule 7.4 - Combat Logging

Logging out to avoid combat results in punishment.

8.0 Crime Rules

Rule 8.1 - Crime Must Create RP

Crime should create stories, not easy money.

Rule 8.2 - Theft

Theft must involve roleplay. Do not steal simply because mechanics allow it.

Rule 8.3 - Murder

Murder requires strong IC justification. Repeated random murders are FailRP.

Rule 8.4 - Banditry

Bandits must interact, negotiate, and roleplay before violence.

9.0 Government & Laws

Rule 9.1 - Respect Officials

Guards and government officials deserve realistic respect during interactions. Failure to do so may result in arrest.

Rule 9.2 - Corruption

Corruption must make sense and be staff approved. It cannot exist solely to abuse players.

Rule 9.3 - Warrants & Arrests

Guards should follow server laws and procedures whenever possible.

10.0 Economy Rules

Rule 10.1 - No Duplication

Duplicating items or money is strictly prohibited.

Rule 10.2 - Fair Trading

Scams that rely on game mechanics rather than roleplay are prohibited.

Rule 10.3 - No Exploiting Prices

Do not abuse bugs to generate wealth.

11.0 Safe Zones - Temples

Unless otherwise stated, designated safe zones prohibit random violence, combat initiation, harassment and combat baiting.

Players may not use safe zones to avoid ongoing roleplay, evade law enforcement, escape active combat or intentionally disrupt interactions already in progress.

12.0 Exploits & Bugs

Players may never abuse bugs, duplicate items, clip through walls, abuse animations, or exploit glitches.

Report bugs immediately.

13.0 Reporting Players

If someone breaks rules:

14.0 Streaming & Recording

Streaming is encouraged. However:

15.0 Corruption

Corruption is permitted when it is believable, lore-friendly, and intended to create meaningful roleplay. Examples of corruption may include accepting bribes or turning a blind eye to minor crimes. The following rules apply:

16.0 ERP (Erotic Roleplay)

Romantic roleplay between consenting players is permitted.

Explicit sexual roleplay, simulated sexual acts, nudity, strip clubs, prostitution, or similar adult-themed content is prohibited.

Any unwanted romantic or sexual roleplay directed at another player will be treated as harassment and may result in a permanent ban.

17.0 Robbery & Scams

Robbery and scams are permitted when they are used to create meaningful and immersive roleplay. They must never be used solely to generate easy profit or ruin another player's experience.

18.0 Provoking Lore Factions

Players are expected to value their character's life and act in a believable manner when interacting with major lore factions (such as the City Guards, Imperial Legion, Stormcloaks, Thalmor, Vigilants of Stendarr, and similar organisations). Provoking, attacking, or deliberately antagonising these factions without a compelling in-character reason is prohibited.

Examples of valid reasons include:

19.0 Insiding & Faction Betrayal

Joining a faction or organisation solely to steal assets, leak information, sabotage operations, or otherwise undermine it from within is not permitted. Unless it is an approved GM story arc

Betrayal and internal conflict are allowed when they develop naturally through roleplay and have a believable in-character motive, rather than being planned from the moment you join. The following rules apply:

General Expectations

By playing on the server you agree to:

Golden Rule: Let it play out

No matter what is happening in-game, continue to roleplay as your character at all times. Even if you believe there are rule breaks, staff present, or trolling behaviour - breaking character, quoting rules, or threatening to make reports is never appropriate.

Staff may enforce punishments if they believe a player's actions are not in the best interests of the server, roleplay, lore, or overall player experience, even if the specific behaviour is not explicitly covered by these rules.

If you’re not having fun, complete the scene and leave - then make a report.

The intent and spirit of the rules always take precedence over attempts to exploit loopholes or technicalities.
